The first step in the E-learning design process is listening to your needs. This is to understand your target audience, business objectives, and your budgetary requirements.
Then a needs analysis is done to target the problem, and create the solution for it.
After that, a detailed design document is created that contains details of the design, content, project timeline, and interaction appropriate for the project, including branching scenarios, simulations, and/or gamified elements.
Also a prototype is created to first show the layout, design, course content, colors, navigation, interactions, and audio if needed.
After the design document and prototype is approved by you, then development begins on the final product.
